Single Malt Whisky Page
Along with my music, my other love is for Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been collecting rare malt whiskies from around Scotland, including ‘lost’ distilleries now closed.
A lot of my favourite drams are from the World famous distilleries on the Isle of Islay but am recently enjoying the massive selection on Speyside. One of the joys of exploring single malt whiskies is the discoveries and recommendations of untried malts and adding these to my “go to” list.
Music and Whisky go hand in hand I believe, just listen to the many songs on the subject, “Whiskey in the Jar (Irish dd an ‘e’!), Whiskey Lullaby, Tennessee Whiskey….
With this in mind, I will soon be launching a new website called “Folk n Whisky” with all things to do with both music and Whisky!
